For optics fabrication shops

Engineers draw their lenses in in the ISO 10110 notation. When they ask for a quote, we send the complete request to the few shops best equipped to make that part, not to every shop on a list.

How matching works

  1. The engineer draws. A complete ISO 10110 drawing for a spherical or aspheric lens: polished, molded or diamond-turned, with tolerances, surface quality, coatings and notes on the sheet.
  2. They request a quote. They choose the drawings, quantities (for example 10 / 50 / 200), target dates, and flag export control or an NDA if needed.
  3. We match 2–3 shops by material, size, tolerances, surface quality, fabrication method, quantity and lead time, using the capability profile you give us.
  4. You quote directly. You set your price and terms and keep the customer relationship. Nothing is ordered until the customer approves a quote.

At launch we review every request by hand before it goes to any shop.

What you receive in an RFQ package

NDA and export-controlled (ITAR / EAR) requests

When a customer marks a request as export-controlled or needing an NDA, we contact the customer before sharing anything. Those drawings go only to shops the customer agrees to, under an NDA where required, and export-controlled requests only to US shops that confirm the necessary registration (for ITAR, DDTC registration). Such requests are handled by email, not shared through any public page.

Questions shops ask

Do customers pay through ? No. You quote and invoice the customer directly on your own terms.

How many shops see each request? Usually 2–3, chosen by fit, so you are not in a 20-shop bidding war.

Is there a guaranteed number of RFQs? No. The tool launches publicly in October 2026 and volume will grow with use; we will be open about the numbers.

Where are you? Rochester, New York. is an unofficial ISO 10110 aid and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ISO.
